Somerset Energy Innovation Centre

Is a vital piece of infrastructure to support local SMEs working together and in collaboration with upper-tier suppliers to maximise the development and engagement of a local supply chain to support EDF Energy’s plans to construct the first of a new generation of UK nuclear power stations at Hinkley Point C in Somerset.

Hinkley Point C is a £16 billion project which will take at least a decade to deliver and is a huge opportunity for local businesses.

Somerset County Council’s development of a new low carbon energy innovation and collaboration centre will be built on the Woodlands Business Park site in Bridgwater, adjoining J23 of the M5. The completion and occupation of phase one of the development is planned for July 2015.

If you are interested in taking space in this centre and would like to be kept informed of progress, then please register your interest on the attached Enquiry Registration form.
